In June 2023, ConnCAN, in collaboration with Make the Road – CT, United Parents and Students, and Center for Children’s Advocacy championed landmark legislation codifying the Multilingual Learner Bill of Rights. All rights are currently in effect across all public schools in Connecticut. We encourage families to read, share, and ensure that these rights are followed by districts throughout the state.
