On Nov. 14, 2016, The Hour published an article by Kevin Schultz regarding a call from Norwalk faith leaders that Connecticut reform its public school funding formula and cited ConnCAN:

The event was held in coordination with ConnCAN, an organization dedicated to improve education outcomes for Connecticut’s kids.

“In this time of great divide and great uncertainty in our country, I think there is at least one thing that we can all agree on — one thing that brings us together,” said Jennifer Alexander, ConnCAN CEO. “We wall want a brighter future for our children. We know that a bright future, strong communities and a strong economy depend on all children getting a great education.”
