High-quality pre-K is essential to our state’s youngest learners and to the future of our economy. This  report explains why, addresses the current status of early childhood learning in Connecticut and puts forth lessons for policymakers to learn from high-quality public pre-K in other states. Throughout the report, we offer examples of high-quality pre-K programs serving Connecticut children and families, as well. We hope their examples lead the way.
